Getting Help

Lamp Community provides real housing and a wide range of health and support services to men and women living with a severe mental illness in Los Angeles. Housing and services are open to all people regardless of substance use, physical disability, criminal record, and lack of income or identification.

While our housing and services are often at capacity, we occasionally have openings and encourage people to contact us for assistance.

If you are in need of help or you wish to make a referral, please call our Safe Haven at: (213) 488-0031.

Intakes are conducted in person at the Frank Rice Access Center every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to noon. Walks-ins are welcome.

A formal intake is not required to access the Frank Rice Access Center. We encourage you to come to have a meal, take a shower, or meet new friends.
